Rider Ventures Compost Manure is made by mixing fresh cow manure with sawdust into windrows and letting it cure for a minimum of one year. This nutrient-rich organic amendment will improve soil health, structure and will promote the health and vitality of plants, gardens and fields. Composted manure will help unlock the full potential of your soil, while making a positive impact on the environment.
USAGE
. As mulch, apply a 1" to 3" layer on top of soil around plants or as general mulch throughout planted areas.
. As an amendment, blend at a ratio of 1-part compost and 2 to 3 parts existing soil or other soil-building ingredients.
. As a topdress on lawn areas, apply a 0.25" to 0.5" layer uniformly across the lawn and rake to incorporate.
Topdressing lawns improves the texture and color of grass through the addition of slow-release nutrients and retention of moisture.
